Meet Brooks Browning
Brooks grew up in a small town in North Carolina filling spiral notebooks with poems, song lyrics, and short stories.
She went on to study communications at UNC-Chapel Hill, then built a successful career in corporate marketing—writing for Fortune 500 brands, executive presentations, and national campaigns.
But her heart has always been in helping real people find their voice.
Brooks brings a calm, grounded presence to every rewrite—equal parts brand strategist, language lover, and quiet powerhouse.
Jay was born and raised in Oakland, California, where he learned early on that words could move people.
From rap lyrics on loose-leaf paper to writing screenplays with friends, his creativity has always been loud, fast, and full of heart.
After graduating from NYU with a degree in English and a focus on consumer behavior, he spent a decade leading copy teams for fast-growing e-commerce brands.
Today, he brings that big-brand energy to small-biz storytellers—with punch, polish, and a whole lotta love.
